routing in reaper question

    please note i'm not looking for another method i'm trying to make everything work through one track as below by using Splitter.

    i think its within splitter that i am doing something wrong.

    what i'm trying to do is...basically exclude the highs from normal signal and send the highs to reaverb (for example reaverbate in this case) and bring it back and connect it all back together

    i think i'm going somewhere wrong, maybe splitter does not recognize 3/4?

    if you can tell me where i am going wrong

    easy but wicked way would be to put highs on channels 1/2 (yes, flip the 3-way splitter outs), that way you can be sure whatever plugin is not thinking you're trying to sidechain into it, and in the end use joiner instead of EQ to sum channels back

    perhaps also take a look at Reaper's "Track Wiring Diagram" (in View menu) to better visualize the signal flows

    Firstly, to do this on one track you'll need the Splitter and the Joiner. In between the FX.
    Secondly, for the Splitter you need to set Input 1/2 to all outputs 1 - 6 (because of the Joiner) so you see this diagonal line of squares.
    Thirdly, for the FX you need to use Input 5/6 and output 5/6!

    Joiner is by def set to Input 1 - 6 to Output1/2

    This way it'll work.
