Similar to the VST TR-808 and TR-909 Roland has released a VST TR-606.

As a previous owner of a 606 I'll add this: you can replicate the sounds of a 606 with a sampler easily, they're not that magical.

Fantastically bouncy for sure, not saying otherwise.

The key to the 606 is the interface which to me is the best drum machine interface ever (yes, it's better than a 808 or 707/909, easily). So I'll skip this and consider the Behringer hardware which does replicate the feel of the original.

    That's just me though.

Any instrument has that specific workflow (limits included): that is what define its character, and that’s why we can’t can fully recreate the vibe using a sampler. Yes, in outboard gear, the interface is definitely part of the sound

Very true, IMO the sounds can be replicated, but not the vibe.
