Roland System-8 Plug-outs

    Could anyone confirm whether the last System-8 firmware can still load the plug-outs contained in the latest Roland Cloud releases on the sister site? I'm especially interested in the Jupiter-4 which was released after I got rid of my System-8, but is compelling me to get another one. Just wondering if Roland have since 'plugged' the leak!

    I don't know. I own a System-8, and have Roland Cloud Ultimate, and I guess it works for me... but I haven't tried any monkey business with it.

    Not so sure about Zenology, but the R2R individual ones seem to work. Haven't tried the JP4 though.

    Good to know, thanks. If the old ACB plug-outs still work on the latest firmware I guess the new ones should. Zenology is a different beast and uses ABM modelling for the Fantom, Jupiter X etc which has more polyphony but is less accurate. I'm happy to stick with the System-8 ACB's.
