    technically they released sh-101, promars and sh-2 in January but they just released a software version of the actual system-1 unit

    I have just purchased the System 1 vsti and it is really good, although is not recommended for processors below core i5, as it uses lots of CPU (40 to 60 percent on Quad Core i7 with 3.2 turbo boost). They have an offer on with a reduced price, whilst there campaign is on you can grab it for 110 euros(offer ends 4th August), instead of the regular price of 145 euros. It is possible to activate on up to three different computers and can be DE-activated and transferred at any time.

    damn I saw this the other day on roland they had downloads up for trials of the system 1 synth. If you guys want I could send u the mac installer. But honestly the thing sounds almost as nice as everything else I have for 50% cpu load on one track in ableton. (2.8 i7 macbook pro). One track. 50% cpu. What the hell....

    That brings up another topic that really puts a fire to my balls... Why dont companies like Roland reissue things like that? A fucking Jupiter would sell. A spot on vsti version would not just sell it would fucking blow out Roland's o-ring in sales.... They definitely should make a Jupiter ACB version. Its absolute bullshit they dont. Forward thinking asshats need to learn.

    Tell me one thing that is so great about a Jupiter?? I've had a few over the years and can't think of single thing they did that the many of my VSTI's can't do and sometimes even better!!

    They kinda did actually, it's called JD-XA.
    Even with the lame demos from NAMM, this looks promising. The price also will be on the Jupiter side...
