Roland JV1080 where can I get all the banks/patches?

    That's not the point. The guy who wrote that post in his blog said that his Integra7SDCard.bin is just an image of the SD card's file system. This extension is for image, which was, probably, made, by using UltraISO or something similar. Is has nothing to do with Roland.

    I wasn't talking about the image file for the card, I was talking about the SRX expansion data, which are in BIN files. As is the plugin waveform data. And the plugin preset data. All of these files created by Roland in whatever proprietary data format the use on a file-by-file basis.

    Some good news!

    Seems that Beely from KVR is building a conversion tool again, like the one he built for the D50. :wink:
    He already reversed most of the JV-1080 plugins preset-format.
    The tool will be able to convert .syx from the XV-5080 into .bin for use with the JV-1080 plugin. :disco:

    Pretty weird to see people getting upset about a manufacturer charging customers for their goods when the people complaining have no intention of ever purchasing them. In fact, they're begging for someone to steal it for them.

    sorry to hi-jack the thread, does the JV stuff have some good bell sounds? like in Adam F - Circles?



    hmm maybe i can use some of the Organ's around ~450 and apply filters to it?

    gawd i love the JV1080 lol - quite happy ROland remade it and yeah R2R for the non-cloud version, because i am offline most of the time when i work with it.
    @garfinkle would buy, if non-cloud ...

    Sry, but I wasn't sure which bells you meant exactly @ArticStorm
    I think I heard some cool ones before in at least one of the cloud synths. But there have to be a lot more I imagine. I'll have a look again when you name the position, those are no bells at 4:50? Or did ya found a patch by now?

    Btw. I noticed when loading the converted bins, that you can simply copy all those <Python Blue Roland Bins> into the respective folders under C:\ProgramData\Roland Cloud\...and the Plugs recognize them on their next start

    Fantastic. Now i won't have to buy a JV-2080 and all of the expansions on Ebay!

    On the other hand, this makes my Integra-7 a bit more useless, but some of the sounds on the SRX that are not on the plug-ins are on the Integra-7 so yeah.

    Roland JV-1080 VST

    How to load .bin Card expansion into the VST?

    I've downloaded some bin files to use with it.
    I found it on another forum thread on KVR audio.

    I tried this out on the JV-1080 VST and I can only seem to load .bins in these folders:

    JV90 Collection
    JV1000 Factory
    JV-XV Collection
    XV5050 Bank E,F,G,H

    how do I load the expansion boards .bin's into the JV-1080 VST?
    I get a "The file cannot be read" error message when trying to load these .bin's:

    SR-JV80-11 Techno Collection
    SR-JV80-12 Hip Hop Collection
    SR-JV80-19 House Collection
    SR-JV80-4 Vintage Synth
    SR-JV80-8 Keyboards of the 60s&70s
