Chro-8080 - Plugin Overview with Chrono (Roland JP 8080 Emulation)

In this Video Chrono is presenting his Chro-8080 Softsynth. It's an improved emulation of the legendary Roland JP 8080 for the Native Instruments Reaktor Platform. He answers all my questions, showing many sounds and the function of this synth.

I recently discovered this synth when I heard it mentioned on a podcast. It's called Chro 8080, its not a VST it's a reaktor ensemble, but it needs to be mentioned here as it's SO powerful in terms of sound quality.

Just got off the phone with the CEOs of Guitar Center, Thoman, and Amazon. We had a nice conference call, and they let me know the jupiter synth is coming out with Arturia on the 24th.

Well. That settles it being official... as for the JP8K being a new entry... We shall find out soon enough.

Any idea what the other new VSTs in the Collection will be? I'm so impatient lol, I feel this is going to be a big one (new ARP2600?)

Edit: Apparently, in collection 11, you got the stuff already released individually like the Minibrute, the JP8000, some Lo-Fi instrument, and revisions of the Augmented stuff (that I never cared about). They also remade the SEM.

Nearly midday here in the UK, still no actual release, does the 24th in France begin in the afternoon or something?!

 

It's also midday here in Germany and France. Wait a bit and be patient. I think you'll see the release in the late afternoon or evening.

This is part of Arturia's marketing: they want people to go to their website and see other products and maybe buy them. It also generates high click rates. They know people are impatient and don't want to wait.

 

Well. That's that. This was one helluva bumpy ride, but alas, OP was onto something, I suppose.

Can't wait to download 40 .rar parts for the next release on the sister site...!

But in all honesty, this was fun in retrospect to investigate.

 

Is this a real emulation similar like the DSP56300 Series or another VST Clone?
