    Hi,

I have a roland fa 06 workstation and I was wondering what would be the dis/advantages of connecting it to the two analog mic inputs instead of instrument 3+4 on the babyface pro. I've had a look on the internet and I've seen one guy doing this but he didn't mention any levels etc. If anyone could shed a bit of light on this it would be a big help .

    thanks

    Mat

I have done both and didnt see much of a difference. you have a pad option with instrument channels.
My FA-06 works great through USB and Midi
bring up a track in your DAW and record a couple bars and then check the level
