    Hi there!
    Just wondering if there's any VST that can load Roland’s classic JP8000 synth presets, instead of having to use the actual hardware...

    Any help with this out there?

    Thanks a lot in advance for any hint or help!

    Yes, Arturia's one, but you'll need to get the third-party convertor to convert JP8000 presets. Or, as someone has already converted all the JP8000/8080 patches found so far already, unless you want to convert your own, you can just use those converted files directly in the Arturia plugin.

    There's also going to be a free converter for the JP presets to JUP-8000 format, check out Discord JP Chat in the DSP563 group. Else you can buy the converter now from https://audioalchemyst.gumroad.com/l/yzkfze

    They sure did a nice job with the GUI revamp. I remember I ripped some Waldorf Pulse waveforms out of that thing like 5-6 years ago. And I think it does XOR.

    Roland JP-80x0 -> Arturia JUP-8000 V Patch Converter

    Hello guys, I just wanted to let you kno, that after nearly two months of dedicated work, my JP-80x0 → Arturia JUP-8000 V Patch Converter is finally complete!

    This is a cross-platform tool which supports both Single and Performance patch conversion, ensuring accurate recreation of presets.
    Besides mapping of Oscillators, Filters, Envelopes, LFOs, and Modulations, thankfully I figured out how to implement the Velocity Sensitivity parameter of the presets.
    It dynamically creates Macros for Filter, Filter Envelope, and Amp Envelope sections, enhancing precision and expressiveness!

    To showcase its capabilities, I’ve prepared an audio/video demo featuring presets created with the converter, as well as another demonstration video explaining its functionality in detail.

    I truly appreciate your support—please share your thoughts, and if you find it valuable, consider liking, sharing, and leaving a rating to help more people discover it!
