Robben Ford triad and inversions lesson

    after watching this video, I expanded the triads and inversions up the E major scale.
    E, F#m, G#m, A, B, C#m, D#dim

    All a guitar or bass player has to do is learn three shapes. The major shape shared by E A and B, the minor shape and the diminished shape.

    I believe this is the ABC's of music.

    Just listening to and absorbing the different ' shades ' of each triad and their inversions will give you enough tools to have fun creating your own music.
