I have to wonder how old you are Kookaboo, The way you express yourself, using bold and caps and colors and exclamations, comes off as quite childish mate, as if you think your right about everything.

You should tone it down a little when expressing your opinions.

You could learn a little something from SG about music creation, and how to handle oneself publicly...

    ...Imo.

I like the plug, the way it looks is fine with me, and im positive it could be a useful addition to any producers arsenal who knew what they were doing.

Its all good. Im always up for a good debate. Keeps the blood flowing. No harm intended or taken. Kook is one of the main supporters that keeps the otherside of this place going. I greatly appreciate everything he does for this community. Im suprised he even has the time to take a personal interest in vindicating his (somewhat biased and one sided) views on the blade synth. Between all the audioz posts and skin filtering he does. (Still waiting for one you actually created)

I mean, come on, Vanguard? That thing sounds so dated. Use that synth and your music will be warped back 10 years instantly. Thats where his opinion lost credibility with me

subGENRE : "how come the worlds best guitarists have the most beat up ugliest guitars? theyre only concerned with the sound, not the look."

*no* That's not correct! Have you ever seen PACO DE LUCIA playing in public on a crap guitar???
Maybe some Grunge or Punk bands do so, but not musicians with class.

One Reason : It's nonsense from you trying to investigate on my age. Keep cool and be tolerant. I thought Americans would be particularly tolerant....Come on, i can write my comments as i prefer. Nobody is offending anybody, when he uses the tools offered in the text editor. But i see....there's so many lazy people out there, they'll never use these tools. So i use them and am happy with it.

I think youre confusing class with vanity :mates:

and the americans being tolerant comment? That was really unnecessary, Kook.

Each person has his own right to their views and beliefs regardless of where they hail from.

You got this wrong, it's not about ugly vs. beautiful, it's about ergonomy. But as I am not a native speaker some things are a bit difficult to explain. Some synths promote a good and fast work flow, like Sylenth or Massive, others are not that easy on the eye. I guess if your eyes are alright then that doesn't bother you. For me those dark skins are always annoying, as are small buttons and fiddly menues.

Of course finally the sound counts, but I haven't tried Blade yet as my main aim is to master my to-go-synths rather than testing and testing and so on...

I recently compared the infamous supersaw on Sylenth, Massive and Minimonsta, I tried to make them as similar as possible, and I'd say they clearly sound diffent, but all are useable. That's a good thing, there's variation in creating sounds with different synths.

Well but that's not a bad thing, e.g. some Minimonsta patches warp you back 30 years, and I love this synth for this. ;)

Gay as in its stupid and ugly. Like i said, I was an Alpha tester for it, so i saw this junk 2 months ago. It is not the best plugin. Laserbass plug for Reaktor is better than this

    :excl:

and I never really had fun with the Rob Papen synths. indeed, the guis are gay, the factory sounds are mediocre... everything is slighty demotivating and kinda 'second quality'.
I will just concentrate a little more on my Reaktor and its "cutting edge" synths Razor, Lazerbass and/&/+...

    I guess I won't miss anything..

If anybody is interested drop me a PM and i'll pass you the link.

    I won't use this crap anyway – a waste of HD-space! :break:

just got a hold of this today..superb additive synth with some amazing capabilities, the demos on the rp website dont really do it any justice,

anyone who thinks this sounds like vanguard exposes themselves as having zero credibilty whatsoever.
