Hi all,

I cannot seem to install any version of this software at all now. Neither Mocha or TCD.
Would someone be kind enough to help out on how to apply patchers available? it's a great piece of software and extremely useful but I've tried and tried.

Just apply the supplied patched .exe from the downloaded folder. Or copy the patch to the installed folder, and apply inside there. Good luck.

 

I have applied the patch several times, even unblocked the patch from Defender smart screen. RipX starts then closes. Can't see a way round it.

 

Neither the patcher on the current release, or the TCD one, have any effect. The prog just flashes up, then closes.

Hi Mal,
same problem as well. In my case I fixed it in the following way:

1) Double-click on the Ripx icon (which does not start).
2) I open Task Manager and search for RipX.
3) I terminate the RipX task from TaskManager.
4) I double-click on the RipX icon....
Et voila... RipX as if by magic, starts!

This defect does this on older versions too but I always solved it this way.

I hope there is an easier way to get it started but unfortunately I don't know it at the moment.
