Well I'm scared of your numbers as well of your knowledge I presume you have of the matter. I hardly can compete, after all I just sell just to fairs or occasional collectors. But my titles are (and were) mostly well known.

However, I can try to make a list of the remaining "obscure" tracks and to see if you know them.
Of course, ELP, Chic, Michael Zager Band, Ritchie Family and the like are ultra famous, I won't list.

the whole point of a topic is a place to begin to explore, to stay on topic is to not discover, but rather walk the same path until it is a rut.

An old friend of mine was the main "admin" of the Greek Depeche Mode fan club for ~25 consecutive years. Last time we spoke about 2 years ago, he had 2750 Depeche Mode records and he told me he wasn't buying often anymore

Yep all those are well known. ELP, i have everything i like from them which i must confess isn't much. Somehow they 're my least fav prog band. Don't mind that, it's just my own peculiarity i guess. I 've always thought of them as a band less than the sum of its members, which i like all but mostly each and everyone in their previous bands.
With Chic, if you happen to have Chic - "Chic Cheer" in 12", as i have the album, or Chic- "Dance, dance, dance" in 7" white vinyl edition, name your price mate.
Now if by Michael Zager Band, you mean something like "Let's All Chant", well yep that i have and most old peeps do so i guess , it sold something like 5 mil. However, if you have anything from Ten Wheel Drive, Zager's early band from the late 60s-early 70s, again name your price please. That was a whole different project, a little prog rock with a bit of hippie soul and some r'n'b and jazz, i like that very much. It's kinda Janis Joplin with a prog/theatrical twist sometimes. Genya Ravan is an amazing singer. Most underrated i 'd say. Anyway don't mind my mumblin', digressing is my thing hehe.
Waiting for the list, if you feel we 've been spamming the thread you can pm me man, np.
    Cheers
PS: Err, Genya on the Janis/Etta James tip hehe...

I personally find Ripping Vinyls too traumatic, I prefer to gently peel, often tugging, almost osmatically extracting the analog audio, before gently bringing the analogs to a simmer in an airtight digital buffer for optimum bitrate manipulation and conversion into 1's and 0's, and finally letting the mess of electrons settle into a reasonable fascimile in a low light, temperature controlled environment for long term stability and preservation of the delicate electrons stress free state.

I use AOL audio peeler (from the may 1998 AOL install disk - the best of the decade in my book) and feed the output into a Bell Labs Notablely Nicer Tugmaster 7000, which is run concurrently with another of the same unit, to provide optimal stereo processing without crosstalk, fast talk, or back talk. I worked with a technician to modify an off the shelf aquarium into a custom Airtite Digital Buffer, with a series of built in rainbow leds (with brightness control) to have suitable lighting to condition the electrons per the genre or type of music ( I prefer a dark blue low intensity lighting for Blues Music for instance) - I use a ZeroFloor Muxmaster 3000 to do the actual conversion, mine is suspended in a bath of supercooled helium to reduce phase change and ensure friction free electron movement, and it looks really cool when it vents a bit of steam, sort of like a retro futuristic Tea Kettle for Aliens (which was the sticker I put on it), the output data is collected, collated, triple buffered, double walled, quadruply sorted and then at the peak of its manipulation frozen by a Stasis System Audio Lock 1200 MkII into a perfect 96,000 bit mp3 stream which is simultanesouly saved as a flac file and an MP3, as well as a Wav file, and I have an option to save it as a Dave file which I rarely use.

The resulting output is considerabley better than the actual Vinyl source, and it usually only takes up 5 to 25 times more drive space than a standard mp3, and I can rip an album in under a week if I really need to.

So far I have peeled 7 vinyls albums, since setting up and tweaking this system in 2011, I should have my entire collection peeled by 2155 as long as I can raise funds to up staffing levels to around 37 people.

The best part is the album is automatically ejected at the end of the process and a shotgun blasts it into a million pieces in midair like a clay pigeon, so everyone knows the system is working and another vinyls has been taken off the "to do" list.

So basically with a little basic care to details, anyone can convert a vinyls to a digital at home with the modern technologies that make our lives so much more pleasant, like the electric car door handles that don't work on freezing cold days and allow us to stay warm and cozy at home.

Wow bro, cmon, it is not that serious...

I'm not wasting time ripping stuff with jitter and whatever the interface is suffering from, done that, not worth the time.
