i remember in high school i was in history class, it was the week before graduation, so we didnt do any work and one day Ms.Taylor played this Denzel movie during class. at one point, "Don't Worry Baby" starts playing and im like, "ooo i love this song" and start singing a long too it

now my school and neighborhood was in the hood, almost everyone in my school was a minority. the year is 2000 and something and everyone is confused by a black kid singing this song word for word - then someone in my class is like, " how the fuck do you know this?'' and im like, "ya'll don't?" and everyone starts busting off laughing

The band's co-founder and singer died at the age of 82, according to a statement from his family. Further details, such as the cause of death, were not immediately available. Wilson had been suffering from a form of dementia.

"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, Brian Wilson. We are at a loss for words," read a family statement posted on Wilson's online accounts. "We know we share our grief with the world."

Devastating week. RIP Brian Wilson

 

Son of a bitch. God Only Knows might be the best pop/rock song ever written, and he had so many others that were amazing as well. Well, he's had a tough time over the years, I'm sure he's in a better and happier place. At least he finally got some proper recognition for SMiLE before it was all said and done. RIP Brian!
