Hey everyone,

I’ve recently developed a new plugin called MegaFilter and I’m offering a free demo version for anyone interested in testing it out. It features several filters, a chorus, a phaser, and more, designed to provide flexible sound shaping options, especially for psytrance and electronic music.



I understand everyone has different preferences when it comes to plugins, so instead of going into too much detail, I’d love for you to try the demo and form your own opinion. Any feedback is appreciated, as I’m always looking to improve the design and functionality.

If you change the EQ boost on the right side of the plugin, to a cut that matches the low cut filter on the left; it will look like the fangs of an alien snake.

You'd think that testing something like this one would get a full version instead of a "demo", as most testers in the real world actually get paid for such things...

 

I just watched the first video you posted up top. With the exception of the example with 3 instances (Serum Init 2)I found it very annoying and to be brutally honest, I can get better options from here without cost:-

Hey everyone! thank you for your comments

Just wanted to drop in and clear up some confusion about the beta version of my MegaFilter plugin. I know it might look a bit tricky right now, but don’t worry, this version will be FREE very soon (Everyone who did purchased, gets lifetime updates!)

A new update (v1.1 Release Version) is almost here, with a fresh look and much more features. i added modulation to each section and another LFO, many new presets! And yep, anyone who gets the plugin gets a lifetime license for all updates – so you'll never have to worry about extra costs down the line!

Here’s a short video of how does is sounds on INIT preset from serum ! and how it will looks like (not ready yet!). Let me know what you think!

The GUI in the new video looks much better than the one in the first post.

 

you can't get that sound with free plugins even with polyverse supermodal, my plugin is straight to the face filtering with unique sound and much easier to tweak

If you read what I said, I said I could get better options from there for free. I also said I found that 'effect' to be annoying, in which case I wouldn't want to replicate it.

If you are only after reviews that give you feedback you want to hear and If brutal honesty is not what you were going for, you should have said so.

because I can say "oh it's wonderful, I cant live without it," if it makes you feel any better!

 

ah bummer. just tried to demo, but windows only? im setting up a windows rig soon, but not quite there

 

That works both ways.

I told him what I liked about it and what I didn't, and then wished him well with it. His response was to give me a dislike.

I removed the 'wish him luck' So make of that what you will..

 

$99 is too much, $19 would be appropriate price imo. it's your first plugin, you need to build reputation and market is saturated. the gui is kinda ok, i cannot judge sound from youtube video, must test in studio with my sounds. anyway congratz for making a plugin
