Hi everyone, dev here, this is my own tool so full disclosure up front.

Reverie is a standalone desktop app for macOS and Windows, not a plugin. You
feed in any audio (a sketch, a vocal, a synth take, a field recording), choose a style, set
a length, and it builds a long, evolving ambient bed out of it. Three macro sliders plus a
length if you just want a result fast.

For this crowd, the part that probably matters more is the engine underneath, so here is the
    detail.

    Dreamtime, the stretch engine
The core of it. An extreme time-stretch, up to 100x, but tuned for production rather than
the usual "freeze it into a static drone" result. The read head wanders through the source
instead of sitting still, so even a very long render keeps evolving and never locks into a
loop. It also reads several non-contiguous chunks of the source rather than one block, which
keeps the texture richer and less repetitive, and it cross-blends phase between frames to
keep the grainy stretch artefacts down. It lands on your target length to the second.

    Spectral side
Frequency-domain modules then shape the material: spectral freeze (hold one moment into an
endless sustain), spectral blur (smear the spectrum into a wash), spectral morph (travel
between two spectral states), and a spectral gate. A lot of the "where is this even coming
    from" character lives here.

    Custom Chain (the deep control)
Under the presets, every result is just a chain of modules, 37 of them, and you can open it
up: filters, modulation (chorus, phaser, ring mod, frequency shifter), space and time
(shimmer reverb, delay, pitch and formant shift, resonators, a chord layer), texture (tape
saturation, bitcrush, glitch, stutter, micro drift), and a master section. Reorder modules,
set each one's range, build your own chain and save it as a preset. So it scales from three
sliders to designing your own signal path.

    Seeds
Each generation is unique, but the whole recipe (your settings plus the exact randomisation)
sits in one seed value. Paste a seed back to reproduce a result exactly, or keep the seed
and move a single parameter to explore around it. Useful for revisions.

    Formats
Renders up to 30 minutes, export to WAV, FLAC, OGG or AIFF, 16 or 24-bit. Runs offline, and
it is not AI, it is all signal processing.

There is a free version (no account, 3 minute renders, 20x stretch, 5 presets) so you can
run the whole workflow first. Pro is a one-time purchase (19 EUR at launch), no subscription.

I would really value feedback from people who build beds and textures for real projects,
    especially what feels missing.

    Thanks,
    Will
