Hi ! I'm wondering if anyone get some info of this reverb, it sound always right and true, never heard that anywhere else, if someone can help me ?

I used to have a Virus TI2 and I sold it so don't answer saying using it as effect ;)

 

I heard it and that the only thing that differ from the Virus himself, not the same reverb...

 

I have a ti2 unit aswell as ostirus, and i don't really hear a difference worth debating. The emulation can be trusted.

 

Valhalla Room/Supermassive (Free): Supermassive is 100% free and has "huge" modes that echo the TI2's spaciousness without mud.

 

Totally different animal. This statement is very similar to the "DAW null tests" sound the same because the output of one file is the same sound produced. Whereas any experienced producer will tell you that a track they produce using FL or Cubase will never turn out the same. "It sounds the same" is a vast oversimplification to support someone's own agenda, when everyone else knows it's bullshit.

 

Then, its an emulation. Don't nitpick what I said because I didn't say it the way you wanted it to be said. :P

 

Why are you misunderstanding my point? I literally gave OsTIrus the green light and suddenly you don't read or understand my english!? Did I say they weren't identical? It i say they were different? I said it WASNT WORTH DEBATING. Because its good! <.<

OH MY GOD its the same 1's and 0's. Just find a good preamp plugin to put it through and you will emulate the analog signal path

 

Do you really have stable ositrus? When load this emulator into FLS, then playback with the beat, it often shifts/offsets from beat, and i need to literally stop and play few times until it 'gets' sync with the beat, if you know what i mean. its annoying thus far, but maybe its fixed?

 

Ostirus Fx, route audio through it and that's it.

 

I don't know if any1 is still reporting such. I haven't had a sync issue for a long time. Not even on the latest update.

Ok, I will give it a second try, but while I'm still here is there any plugin that sound the same ?
It feel very true and wide. I will test Supermassive.

 

I think what you can do is print or render some audio with Virus or Ostirus Reverb, then analyze the spectrum of that Audio in Voxengo SPAN and compare with the same sound source.That you used but this time apply another reverb, it could be something like Lexicon or one of your preference, the point of this is to measure and get something May it be to your liking.

Or you can try this in some convolution plugin
