Does anyone know of a program for mac (osx 10.6), which enables you to do this? Got right near the end of a big file and had a power cut...must pay that bill :(

As far as I know, unless you are a paid subscriber to a download site. I think you need to download the whole program again.

Yeah, this can be annoying if you have to upload big stuff. Early terminated uploads are not uncommon.
I use Transmit. Unfortunately it doesn't automatically resume your uploads, even it is said to be the best ftp client.
I heard that Filezilla supports resume and transfer of large files. but I myself have not tried it yet.

    Check it out: Filezilla Website

Jdownloader also support resuming, but Uploaded.net does not offer this for free users, so with that host it's only possible if you buy premium account.

barry8 and thisis theend, it is actually about uploads, not downloads. *no*

barry8, i had an UL.to account. Terminated uploads happened to me several times,.
Resume uploading was not possible with my used ftp clients, at least i was not able to find out how. :dunno:
I always had to start manually from scratch. :snuffy:
To resume downloads is of course possible (with JD).

Do you know what? It's of interest for me as well. I gonna download FileZilla and check it out too.

Dammit. Mom always said I should learn to read before I write :wow:  :snuffy:

But now I'm curious. Considering how popular UL seems to be, do they really not have some manager that allow premium users to resume uploads?

Doesn't the host/server you upload to have to support resuming a broken upload?

The chatter in here seems to allude that the client can resume the upload with a local app.
I seriously doubt one can resume either up or downloads unless the host is compliant to provide the services in the first place.

I couldn't find anything about it on UL website. :dunno: I have seen that UL recommends FileZilla (in the section FTP-Upload), but no detailed information has been given. So at first we should try this app.
Is there anybody out there, who did that already?

Alraun, FlashFXP is the best FTP client! been using it for ages and even bought it recently.
get it and put your UL.to FTP details into it, then try to upload and resume. *yes*
