Rename AU or VST/VST3 on a Mac

    Would someone here be kind enough to show me how to rename an AU component so Logic scans in 2 separate plugins? Ive tried editing the plist, binary name & nothing seems to work. I don't know how to find the unique identifier number either..... Thank you for any help.
