Hi guys,
I'm not really sure what kind of plugin I can use to remove the reverb from a sample.
It's just a text in german that should explain something. As we used the internal microphone of the camera, there is a shitty reverb on the audio. And now I'm searching for a way to remove it.

SPL, DyVision Works, Acon Digital all make something that should help, and i'm sure there are plenty of others that do, too. iZotope Nectar could also help with this issue. *yes*

ftr, i think the clip sounds fine WITH the reverb of the room in it; it's not harsh to me. that may seem strange, but it is what it is...lol. but if you wanna get it out, one of the suggestions should do just fine.

if the sound source is in stereo, u can use any m\s plug in , and lower the stereo info - "usually" the reverb can be found on the stereo channel.

Unnecessary comment, but still: Never use the camera mic.

And if all else fails, you can always go old school and dub yourself

Finally I used Zynaptiq UNVEIL and it worked perfect..Dont even need to modify the preset I used.

reducing noise will also help to reduce reverb...

 

Zynaptic unveil didn't really work for me, also it used lots of CPU. Izotope RX3 dereverb & SPL de-verb have both worked for me. Plus, they use less CPU.

 

Izotope just kicks major ass all round
