well, today is a very important day for me, my mobile phone numbers blocked list now has more numbers in it than my phone's address book

yep that's the beauty of new smart phones, unwanted calls can be blocked, but fecking hell, I spend more time blocking numbers than actually calling numbers just lately

NO! I do not want/need life insurance, accident claims, pension plans, MS windows fixing, double glazing, triple glazing, a fecking rip off loan, blah blah, blah de blah, etc etc etc

 

I just scream abuse down the phone at them until they hang up, they never phone back again

 

tried that, overly persistent cold calling bastards

 

I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of me abusing them over the phone, they will just laugh at you, it confirms your number is active and then they sell it on to other scammers

@rickbarratt if you are using an android / apple phone you can download apps to help block numbers

old school 2g type phones unfortunately you either ignore the call or answer and have a raging ranting session

 

Sad innit.

I hate those "Mothers" you see walking down the road with their young children. The child is usually 5 paces behind Mum, absently kicking at stones or wandering extremely close to the road. Mum is head down, fingering furiously at the touch screen in her hand. I swear their faces light up more at new status, text, etc, than at seeing their own child!

Unfortunately, you tend to get out of something exactly that which you put into it. These children have terrible communication skills. We had a boy, a few doors down, the same age as our youngest. Whilst I beamed with pride at my boys excellent diction, the lad down the way squeaked, squealed and shrieked to himself whilst playing, alone, in their back garden. They have moved out now. The part time Dad decided his penis was required elsewhere so now that poor child has half left of the zero communication he had before.
