Hey guys,

in the last couple of months I been trying to remake the perc on top of this song which goes like arp to build energy / ear candy, I been trying forever to remake it but I think I need your help

04:20, there is entry of the rave drop which is like 50% industrial 50% hard rave stuff, :P for me at least..

It sounds like a very common techno perc but I can't really figure it's source, can you help me in the journey to remake it?

No my bad, 4:20, it starts to be heard more clearly around 03:42, the perc arp is ongoing till the end of the song from that moment.

I am not sure if I am referring to same thing you want to us to hear, but I hear a snare as part of the groove/drum and another, a snare roll quickly followed by a plucky synth sound at times. You could use a online stem seperator tool, to look at the individual parts of the song. There are plenty of them available for free.

 

Actually I wanted to understand how to make it rather than take his work ..
Anyway I don't see this as snare, more of handpalm muted.. or some organic perc following a rhytm of 5 notes from 03:42

 

I didn't meant copying the work. When you make stems it is easier to study the individual parts. Like seperate it to 5 stems. You will get separate drums, bass, synth, vocal, piano tracks. You can study it better this way, when you have all the individual parts seperated. You will also get to know hopefully, if that sound is drum or some synth.
