This thread may appear to break the rules! Information: it doesn't, I promise (I think/hope). My question is to do with "release cycles" on AudioZ. I'm not requesting anything: I was just wondering if anyone would care to offer me an insight into the release process, so to speak. So here goes...

A while back, we're talking last Autumn towards Christmas, there were a large number of libraries released which were both a) orchestral libraries, and b) expensive. Of course, libraries like this still release every so often, but it seems to me that they are not so common to see on the feed as before. My question then is this. What, if anything, was "special" during the period where there were so many releases? What made that possible, and by extension, why is there a lower release density now? (Of these types of libraries.)

A few possibilities I've considered... 1) That these being expensive libraries, there was money and/or access that then evaporated. 2) Or more interestingly: that there is actually less demand (amongst AudioZ's users) for these libraries than there is for EDM kits and Nebula presets.

I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to all this!

    Cheers,

All goes in cycles my friend, like in nature.
Things come and go, vanish then re-appear……
I don't know how it's going with libraries as i don't use many.
It's comparable to the crack scene: sometimes things run thin,
then later comes abundance 'till saturation.

All is in cycles, but also towards end quarters of the year companies tend to release promotions, coupons and such.

    Just my thought.

What's the difference? AudioZ is king and that's all you need to know. I also don't understand what you mean by dried up, we've had PLENTY of awesome releases in the last few months. I actually prefer it the way it's been rather than suddenly having a deluge of stuff that I want all at once, not to mention how it must overload the hosters. It's not a simple answer but one of the factors are the timeline of team releases, also how fast things get approved, etc. Finally this is not something that should be discussed just because you happen to want to know the daily operations of an audiowarez site. I thought that would be obvious...
