According to the logs... Nexus started connecting to a reFX authentication server.

Just add this to your hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) and you'll be fine:

Have you tried blocking your DAW for incoming and outgoing connections? If not try it, maybe you need to uninstall and reinstall nexus 4 after that, because the License is already messed up. No Timebombing here so far Win 11 FL21 (Blocked via Firewall for incoming and outgoing connections).

 

Thats the Problem you need to install the Factory Content.

 

I'm sure in the last V.R version before the current latest we had to remove those from the Hosts file and it worked with the old Nexus 2 Expansions/Presets. There's no mention of blocking anything in the hosts file with the latest refx-nexus-v4513-vr-rev3 on the sister site from v.r. released on 15.10.2023 but some mention in the comments section under the post so should we add them or not? cheers!

The factory content is on the sister site. I think it's a 10GB download. I hate to disagree with BlackHaze1986 who is trying to help you also, but I've never downloaded or installed the factory content. I'm using the Mac (V.R release) version, though. The only libraries I have are the add-on libraries found on the sister site and they all work without errors for me.

Edit correction: The factory library for Nexus 4 is about 5GB, on the sister site.

 

Download the Factory Content or any Rom or XP's and then paste the content to the Folders in your Nexus 4 Content Folder. After you've done that reopen your DAW and Nexus 4 and you will see the XP's that you added.

i should have been more clear you can install the factory content, Rom Bank or any XP (Factory Content is not needed but i would recommend it). But without any Content it won't work. By the Way Nexus 2 presets will only work if you installed the XP's which where used to make them. When opening a preset where the XP is not installed it will give you a pop up with the Name of the XP which is needed.

Where have you downloaded it on Sister Site? I never had to enter any password sounds strange to me.

there´s also video which comes with the download. Did exactly this way. But everytime I want to load the instrument it wants password.

Im stumbling around retracer trying to find a link to nexus v3 or v4 been using translate to English but still having headaches. I tried searching on google for retracer link but nothing is coming for me. anyone knows a solution?
