The presets are found in the Nexus 3 Installation Files.iso provided in the 170gb torrent.

I was wondering how vers 4 would look with the dumping of all files into one library folder and sub folders with no image files, as I remember vers 2 each XP had its own icon and separate little section in the browser window, is vers 4 just a shit ton of presets all in alphabetical order or whats the dillio?

Without folder digging outside the plugin, how to keep track of which XP's are installed? I'll likely go through each and either star or delete as I go.

you have to edit the setting.json and there put the path for the libraries (i have a comment where i kinda shown how to do it... with double slash

 

I already had those images installed.

Screw it, I tried everything short of installing the full 170gb vers 3 content and nothing has changed. Unless there is a clear fix, after wasting a full day on all of this I cant be bothered anymore. So I went through and deleted everything not working. Dropped around 20GB of files. I guess I will just HAVE to live with 1672 presets until new XP's are available

I have now ~1880 presets and no problems with adding all the new released XPs from the last months from sister site. I just copy paste them plus my legit Xps from nexus 4 .. all works perfect incl. Skins and previews. For new Installations i backuped just 2 Folders _ Cache _ and Public / documents / refx / .. thats all.

 

If you have the new one do share at sister site.

 

They were posted before recent months but got fast a dcma.. nexus 4 v.r is also dcma now

Just to follow up my debacle of a day with the XP's etc... since, I've downloaded 2 individual vers 3 XP's and individually dropped each folder one at a time into the respective library folders and whatya know they work perfectly fine. So the only thing I can figure is that trying to drop 20 XP's / 50gb in 3 folders all at once caused the issue of nothing showing up in the plugin library.

 

I have Nexus 3 preset sample but the preset file is missing, can someone send me Nexus 3 content preset files?

 

Install nexus 4 with 170gb lib, no problem got 24753 presets.
Then install new rom3+4 lib. Work fine got total 25091 presets.
Don't have time to install and try recently release expansions yet.

 

It's in .iso file. If you download whole 170gb you should have that iso.

 

Silly me. I excluded that from the download because I thought I did not need it since I already got Nexus 4. I am going to download that ISO and see if it works. Thanks a lot!

 

Bingo! (I think) ... I did the same thing as Metalwell disregarding and not downloading it thinking that was just the vers 3 program installer

Hi, I'm starting this whole thing from scratch, so before I begin is this the procedure?

1 - install Nexus 4.5.4 Rev 2
then put Nexus 4 Soundbank (Factory + Rom Extension 3&4) + Nexus 3 Factory Content Library + Nexus content full 170G all into one folder, and then replace the image cache files as nequada posted, then all will be working with no errors or missing images etc? Then just add any new XP's posted after the 170GB post and thats it?

And if I don't care about the really old stuff I can just skip the big 170GB download? is that correct?

is that all there is to it other than pointing to the location of the Content folder?
