    yeah he is available ...
He worked together with DJ Manuel Reuter (DJ Manian, danceformation Cascada, also Spencer & Hill) and has produced many club hits and remixes for Sugababes, Moby, Scooter (band), Axwell, Public Enemy, and Tiƫsto. He is also a developer of audio music software as well as being a sound designer. Under the company name "Vengeance-Sound" he releases Soundsets / Sample CDs. As a sound designer for Access Music Electronics, Roland Music, Waldorf synthesizer, Propellerheads, Tone2 & reFX Manuel Schleis works as well. In 2016 his new line of VST Plugins, called "Vengeance Producer Suite", was released (in cooperation with audio software company Keilwerth Audio). Additionally Manuel Schleis works as a tutor for "dance production" for examples the "Roland Synth2Sound Tour", "SAE" & "Musikmesse Frankfurt".

Starting 2014, Schleis has abandoned making EDM tracks, to focus on his passion of producing soundsets with recorded samples only.

Whoah. Sounds like they went totally paranoid with their licensing. I have bought Nexus 2 but I would never get Nexus 3.

It's worth upgrading purely to get rid of that shitty E-licenser dongle - its the only reason I upgraded myself and for your average user its better because you can run it on two machines and not have to lug the dongle between them and you can use it on both at the same time.

    Shitty E-licenser dongle?
With the "shitty dongle" you have literally perpetual license and you are completely independent of the manufacturer and internet connection.
Without the "shitty dongle" (Nexus 3) you can beg every month that reFX still exist and also will renew your "subscription" license.

And you really prefer such a monthly slavery more than to own the license at the dongle being independent of everything and everyone?
Sorry, that's absolute strange choice in my opinion...:deep_facepalm:

The good thing about Nexus 2 is that I can use the legit one in tandem with the AIR version and they both use the same factory contents folder :) Can't do that in Nexus 3

Except with that dongle with Nexus 1 or 2 (or any of the other Vengeance FX plugins) on it you have to buy a completely new license if the dongle is either lost or damaged because they don't register it with Steinberg and thus is completely irreplaceable.

Tell me exactly how that's great again?

If my computer, phone, mp3 player, keyboard, bike and so on are lost or broken, I need also to buy a new one.
Sorry, I really don't understand such arguments.
By the way, I have here two (among other) original e-Licenser dongles with Cubase SX3 & WIZOO Hypersonic.
It's even still branded as Syncrosoft and it works flawless, after 16 years!
I have a couple of e-Licenser (Syncrosoft) dongles (almost 10 pcs) and no one was caused me ever troubles (unlike iLok).

"Tell me exactly how that's great again?"

I'm independent of some foolish company and their mercy.
Also, I'm NOT forced to connect my computer online because of some paranoid copy protection.

Once again (maybe you finally get it):

NO reFX Company = bye Nexus 3
NO Internet = bye Nexus 3
TROUBLES with reFX = bye Nexus 3

    Now Capisce?

Well no most people have stuff like house insurance which would cover losing or breaking all of those those so not the same at all really now is it - in fact its a piss poor analogy. I'm pretty sure though the same house insurance doesn't cover your USB dongle.

You stick with your dongles and I'll stay well clear.

I'm always surprised by how often those Vengeance Sound CD's get recommended as being hot shit. I remember thinking the first one I ever checked out sounded OK, but after the third or fourth, I was like, "Damn, why do these all sound like that terrible Main Room Euro Disco EDM stuff? Does anyone even listen to that stuff?" Everything sounds like The Cheeky Girls.

But I suppose he's shooting for what sells?

They actually pulled quite a few of those from sale years ago when they got caught having basically taken samples from other sample CDs and even in some cases left the old metadata in the sample with the other sample CD title in and people starting kicking off at them about it.

those are one of the things I hate when someone says I make everything myself
i also sample kicks from tracks layer it or change it
I think there is nothing wrong with it as long as you give it a twist
look at all sample cds with roughly the same sounds
like blutonium hardstyle samples with kicks cutted from other tracks
and just like every producer can sample his own piano drums and other sounds
every producer samples something from time to time
as long as you don't sample complete tracks then there is nothing wrong with it in my opinion

Well there's a difference between a bit of sampling and outright stealing say 20 claps from someone else's pack and selling them as your own without doing anything whatsoever to them. That's what Vengeance did with some of the samples. I don't have any issues in using samples from sample packs/CDs its the end result that counts. I dont use whole loops though like bass or synth loops I draw the line there.

I like Nexus, because sometimes I just want to compose something quick, I'm not a sound designer, I'm some kind of wannabee composer lol, I don't really like making my own sounds everytime (sometimes it's really nice and fun but I'm just not the type for synthesizing .-.) And even the old Team Air Nexus has still many useable sounds. Some people might say "hurr durr everyone, Avicii and your mom used that sound", but I don't fucking care, if it fits, it fits. And 99% people who just enjoy listening to your music don't care about things like that anyway. I hate this rompler bashing kinda, maybe it's something different for people who only make electronic sounding synth music. As a general composer Nexus is really handy and it's a good piece of software.

.... But yeah reFX and Vengeance Sound are both huge.... I don't know that much about english insults, so I just call them idiots. You must re-activate your software every 30-90 days... That's ridiculous, what if the reFX or vengeance guys die or what if they have a midlife crisis and don't wan't to do music software anymore? And if you have the older Nexus versions with the dongle, theres a huge chance that you get insulted or banned if your dongle breaks lol. Maybe it's not a big deal if you earn much money but for students like me it would be horrible if this bipolar borderline reFX person bans me because he has a bad temper xD So unless I'm rich, I'll never buy something from reFX or Vengeance haha. But I must admit that Nexus is a very handy tool....

I don't understand why Eric Persing never made more Nexus-like EDM sounds for Omnisphere... Omnisphere is much better and I think it would be a huge cash cow for Spectrasonics .-.

    Agreed!
In the 80s and 90s, and probably ever since 'synths', we've been swapping synth patches/settings on bits of paper, or in magazines, or just waltzing into a store in Denmark Street with your own ram cards & floppy discs and walking out with new synth & sampler patches after 'testing out' the latest model! lol
I really don't get this current 'preset-user bashing' that I hear, because we were literally buying the synths for the factory presets back in the day, because we just wanted to make good music.
The true synth programmers were the real geeks back then, and yet that doesn't always go hand in hand with being the most creative in a musical sense, from my experience.
