is classic nexus 2 content loadable on nexus 5?

 

Just checked ... Seems to be working fine for me when using the latest live lite version ...
However I do run on a windows 10 machine and have version 5.1.6
I would recommend at least updating to 5.1.6 (See Daughter site) as that might solve the issue (They released these updates pretty quick so I assume these are all Bug fixes)

The 170 GB Nexus 3 version will also work but would Require Rom Extensions 3 + 4 to make it complete

The total size of all the Sample rom folders is around 19.7GB total (This are 7 Folders with a total of 2920 Files)

Yes ... All the Nexus and Nexus 2 XP's do work ...
and also the Factory content does work ... however this has all been moved to the Factory Presets folder instead of the "Arpeggios/Bass/Classical/Dance Leads/Epic Pads/Fantasy And Dream/Gated Pads/Piano/Plucked/Single Layer Leads/Single Layer Pads/Single Layer Sequences/Splits and Sequences/Synthetic Brass/Textures and FX/Voice" Folders there used to be

I actually downloaded the 170GB Nexus 3 (See Daughter site) and that contained all of them extracted

I am not sure if there is actually a other way to extract the .nxp files than using A version of Nexus 2 (Believe Version 2.7.4 will support all of them) in combination with a "NEXUS_master_keyfile.mkf" file that unlocks all expansions

VR's v4 complete is 197gb. v3 is somewhere was also ~190gb when it was all first uploaded to yandex. Maybe there is some overlap/duplication but not very much. The v4 contains ROM Extensions 1-4, but you are right. Only Rom Extensions 3+4 were required. You did not need 1+2 for v3, which made it a memorably odd naming convention for them. You'd have to copy v3 into the library but skip installing any of the duplicates to see the final size with them merged. I think v4 complete is more than enough, but I'd do it if the errors continue happening. That error message will get old quickly.

The versions on the Comrade Tracker are not compressed. They are moved in place as 1 folder and edited location in the settings.json file. No other effort required, aside from renaming some things.

D:\musicxz\refx Nexus\Nexus 5 content\samples\ROM5)

Try and get the "rom/ROMExt/ROMEx2/ROMEx3/ROMEx4/Rom4WT" (See Daughter site)
Since to my understanding there are a number of presets in the Factory N5 Presets that might Require those

 

U need to find all the ROMs, all ROMs together should be 21.22GB.
And remember to type correct folder letters in the settings.json.
With big and small letters.

Example;
“Nexus N5 Content”
and not
“nexus n5 content”.

Using the structure you recommended I can now also hear the sounds of the old presets that appear under the ‘Old Factory Presets’ folder tab.

Regarding Dance 2: please tell me if you have these files in your NKS folder: LD Daft from Funk.nksf.ogg, LD Discotronic 1.nksf.ogg, LD Discotronic 2.nksf.ogg, LD Discotronic Wide.nksf.ogg., SQ Popcorn, SQ Pullover, SQ True Benassi.

Strange... I can't find mines anywhere. I'm going nut, I don't understand where they went.
Apparently, those files are not in any ROM. I have also looked for them online but it seems that they are not there either.

If by chance you have them, please, could you kindly upload the entire 'NKS > XP Dance 2' folder for me somewhere? It's tiny.

Well those are just the previews ... but there is a workaround to get those

Rename the Presets folder "XP Dance 2" Or any of the folders you want the previews from (I used "XP Dance 2x" as a quick name for it)
Now if you open Nexus it shows up in the Folders list and if you right click on it you get the option to Generate Previews
Than close Nexus and rename the Presets folder "XP Dance 2x" back to "XP Dance 2" and look in the NKS Folder for "XP Dance 2x" that should contain all the previews (In the ".previews" sub folder) and you can copy/move the once you need into the "XP Dance 2/.previews" folder and that should solve the problem

Hm ... 3 instances of Nexus 5 isn't a lot But I know that some presets can be heavy on your CPU especially if you were to use a low buffer size
Increasing the Buffer size in your ASIO settings might help otherwise Freezing or rendering the tracks might be a good option
This could also be A issue within the version of Nexus 5 (That's why I recommend to get 5.1.6 if you don't have that one as a lot of issues were fixed in that one)

Anybody can help me please,i updated to the latest Nexus 5 , but i have big problem now , it's missing the Nexus at every project that i worked till now , and there are plenty unique sounds that are important but i don't know which presets i did use ...
This is really nightmare , is there any option ?
Or reverting to Nexus 4 is maybe only FIX ... Thanks

 

How do i get the expansions shown above in the folders category to show up in the regular expansions folder seen below and even when i add the pictures for those certain ones they dont appear im very well rounded with extracting software and doing all the steps correctly but i feel like maybe theres something im missing and maybe someone can help me its only for those expansions shown in that category shown in the photo

 

Did you uninstall version 4 when installing version 5?

 

You need to update tags.csv and content_properties.json. To do this, give internet access to DAW or in this Thread, I think some friends have posted these files in updated form.
