One thing is, you should never start the reFX "Cloud" app after installing VR version. It renders your installation disfunctional by installing the newest N5 original version without asking.
Deinstall everything Nexus related. Library included.
Clean all remainders of previous installations like DLL in all VST2 folders etc. by hand.
Reinstall VR Nexus 5. Make sure that the plugin has not been installed twice, as VST2 and VST3.
Redownload the Library (You'll never know what reFX cloud did to the old one e.g. marking it as pirated? By placing one byte in one file. Even one bit would do the job as a flag)
Copy the Library to the desired path. Edit settings.json if needed.
Do NOT run reFX cloud at any time, better delete it.
N5 should work by now if you did everything right.


p.s.: The people at reFX know very well that stolen versions are used. It is therefore to be expected that they have built in surprises somewhere. Even some that VR hasn't found yet. I've looked at a few .json files that log whether unauthorized expansions are being used. This doesn't happen without intention.

No, there will be no conflicts, they exist side by side without any problems.

hii,
i have a problem, i have installed nexus 5.1.1. & 5.1.6. V.R. versions on my windows 10, fl studio 20 & 21,
but everytime i play a not it keeps playin, dont stop! like freezing, sometimes its stoppin after a few minutes but sometimes not, i need to close my fl studio so. i tried make it bridged but didnt helped....any solutions?

 

Hello @triplesiccx, can you take a photo of your FL audio settings etc.? Run "LatencyMon" and post the result here.

There are many factors that can cause this problem for example your CPU of your computer is too low to make music. You have other software running and running in the background or is active in the task manager so check that. Then your soundcard is not handling your cpu usage of your plugins. To low on RAM. Your audio settings are not set to the right buffer length I proffer using external soundcard with 10 min sec of response time.

oh wow!! ok thank you for takin time to help me, the cpu was also my thought. plus my fl studio crashes when i switch to asio4all for sum reasons. my computer is not the best one and 8 years old, i often had latency problems with omnisphere and nexus in the past years. i will post some pics

nexus 4 was good never had issues with the version, just a few sounds had latency problems but was not a real problem

I have a few important questions.
Up to now I have only ever worked on desktop PCs and
now I have bought my first laptop.
But now I want to put some libraries only on external SSD card.
For example Nexus,UVI,Best Service,Spectrasonic Omnisphere.

Ok, I have to install the respective programs on the internal hard drive, that's clear to everyone.

I would just like to know how to access the libraries.

I once heard something about a symlink that you can (have to?) create.
But maybe I'm completely wrong and I have to do something else?
Some of you are certainly familiar with this and I would be very grateful if someone could explain this to me in detail.

This is about Nexus 5 only. There would be a lot of confusion if such general questions were answered here.

1. Spectrasonic - Omnisphere
You simply move the entire STEAM folder to the new SSD. When you then open Omnisphere, it will ask you for the new file path. Then you go to the new SSD with your browser and click on the STEAM folder. Done!

2. UVI - Falcon
You move the entire sound library folder to the new SS, then you open Falcon and go to "System Settings", which is marked in the bar with the 4 bars at the top, there you select "Preferences" and enter the new path of the SSD.

3. reFX - Nexus 5
In Nexus 5, purchased version, you open the reFX Nexus Cloud, go to "Settings" then "File Location" and use the "Move" button and enter the new storage location SSD. I don't have a cracked version and another user will have to answer that for you.

4. Best Service
There you move the entire library to the new SSD and when you open Best Service plugins, it should either ask where the library is or you enter the path in the plugin settings yourself.

From the forum comments it seems you people know a lot about Nexus 5 and using their cloud.
I purchased the both, the latest Nexus5 and Vanguard2( VR not available for mac)

My 1st Mac situation:
- running Nexus 5 VR loaded with expansions and want to install Vanguard2 I have just purchased
- I understand cloud has to be downloaded and run in order to install Vanguard software +20 free expansions
- Is there any way to make nexus 5 VR invisible from cloud during the installation, open the firewall temporary for refx and install Vanguard 2 and expansions since being online is not required for Vanguard 2.
-just run the both after deleting the cloud software and protect it back with firewall.

Do you think something like that might work and how to hide Nexus VR from the cloud?
I would really appreciate any of your advice or help.

 

Guys, I have a question. Has the big issue of Nexus that, if the gui was left open for some time started to become unresponsive, to the point of completely blocking the host DAW, been solved?

 

Maybe a stupid question but I’m not that smart anyways..

All the “missing” samples not loading in N5 factory library, can one just take them from other ROM’s and place them in the N5 sample folder?

And the second important question; which are they?

Can a kind soul help? U can be a cruel soul also I don’t care, just need help!

 

I've never heard of that problem. It looks like a problem on your PC.

 

Do it differently.

1. First uninstall Vanguard.
2. Then install Nexus 5.
3. Restart the PC and then install Vanguard again.

 

One should not be satisfied with the fact that samples are missing at all.
This makes the second question superfluous: No, never copy from other ROMs, these are different samples.
So, why do you think there are missing sample in N5?

 

Hello, thanks for engaging..
Every preset with other expansions are working and N5 factory is also working.. But there are some presets in the N5 factory library not loading cause of something is missing..

I saw someone mentioning somewhere (don’t remember where) that it’s because those samples are in ROM3 and ROM4..

So I was wondering if one could just add those missing little bastards.. without bloating the SSD with all ROMs..

English isn't the first language of most of the people here. That shouldn't be a problem.
I use a legeit version of N5 thus I also have the 100% working ROMs installed. If you have some
examples of non-functioning samples, then we would have a starting point
