I am using a k'd version of Nexus 3 (3.3.7) AU on Mac and all has been working fine.

However my HD died that had all the library content on, and I have a carbon copy Nexus Library Folder on another SSD which I'd like to use and point Nexus 3 'at' so that the full library returns.

I can't seem to see a way to 'point to new drive/library location' on Nexus 3?

Any ideas on how to do this quickly and simply?

Nexus 3 Plug in, working and loading fine, and Library is now on a new drive, so I just need both to 'see each other' and communicate on each load

Use a symbolic link (symlink) to the new Disk.

Thanks twoheart, but I went into the json file and manually typed the new SSD location which seems to have done the trick?
But if it goes awry, I'll take a look at your link

 

Yes ted it would do the job but with symbolic links you will be far more flexible in the future. And you don't have to change original files wich is not always a good idea.
(For instance if the disk path isn't stored in the json file alone but somewhere else, the other setting could override the json. This way changing a file by hand can lead to hard to resolve sideeffects)

Symlinks is something really worth to take a look at.
(e.g. I use it to spread sound files over several disks (internal/external) so that they are filled more equally.)
