Anyone got any solution for "nexus outdated run cloud app" ?

 

Install this one and your problems are solved...:
reFX - Nexus v2.2.1 VSTi - Team AiR (with all Expansions, Presets, Skins (PC) 14,7 GB

 

I did, now a new error:

- did an sfc /scannow command, that worked (Access violation error goes away)
- all old nexus presets are showing up, no more messing with 'em
- trying to install nexus 3 side by side for the new projects

Nexus 3 + Nexus 2.2 doesn't work. Nexus 2.2 works fine with old projects but after installing Nexus3 old projects always catch 'Nexus 3' instead of Nexus 2. So the presets saved in the old project are gone(the main issue in this thread), and reset to the default preset


Someone knows what can be done?

Looks like you can extract the ableton ALS file and get info on presets but not a name. Below is an example of what I got.

Anyone know how we can reference this vstpreset id to a preset name? Or totally unrelated?

I FOUND A SOLUTION TO NOT BEING ABLE TO RECALL OLD PRESETS (IN ABLETON)

(1) Remove nexus 3 from vst files, put in another folder
(2) Replace it with nexus 2 titled "nexus".dll (I also had to update my Jbridge text file name as I was running nex 2 and nex 3 alongside each other but nexus 2 specifically named "Nexus2".dll and Nexus 3 named "Nexus". So the Jbridge text file changes from "Nexus2" to "Nexus"
(3) Now it should open and load nexus and populate the proper preset names
(4) Freeze, or see if you can find the preset in Nexus 3 as some presets carry over but in nexus 3 format

Hope this helps anyone. Screw REFX all the way to hell. Software should not be that expensive.

Unfortunately it doesn't work, at least not with FL Studio which automatically detects that it's the same plugin and always loads the newer version. Even if they are installed in different folders, and even if the dll name is different

 

Found it ! (I answer to myself ) :
I temporarily renamed the Nexus 3 dll (to anything) so FL Studio can'it find and load it, which forces it to open the old version and all the sounds are there !!!

Now if I want to use them soon with the new version, I just have to:
- Export the presets
- Rename the Nexus 3 dll as it was originally

It's so true, I promise you that I sometimes spent 45 minutes looking for something to watch until my eyes hurt, I unsubscribed everything at once (Netflix, Disney +, Waipu TV, Warner, ....) the name is different but they all sell the same uniform and bland soup. I now find my happiness with Youtube (Smartube app without ads). There's nothing better !
