Reference Tracks

    I heard the latest Vampire Weekend album Only God Was Above Us on my old headphones and it didn't grab me, but I just gave it another spin on my new Senny HD 490 Pro and the production is really good. The producer is Ariel Rechtshaid and I've just promoted the album to reference track status :wink:

    Anyone got any more album recommendations based on production values, as I need to update my reference track library.

    Totally agree. The first thing that grabbed me was the production on that album - very underrated.

    The album was highly rated by the music critics, which is what brought it to my attention, but it's definitely gone under the radar in the grand scheme of things.
