    Hey friends,

I'd like to more thoroughly test following situation/principle in Reaper:

if you set Project playback playrate to something else than 1.0,
(for ex., one semitone up is rate of 1.05946 or one semitone down is 0.94387 let's say)

and then do any audio recording,

how exactly will things be treated?

I observed resulting item has properties of "opposite" playrate - but does it technically mean Reaper ignores non-1.0 playrate during Record, or does it do perfect resampling on the fly??

I also did some "phase tests" between two tracks, and they null perfectly, but also don't null randomly (as if there was limited accuracy of Reaper audio engine itself..)

can anyone else try and report back?
