How and what do/would u use to handle this stuff?

1 of studios where I'm currently involved which always did these things on the fly,
but things really needs a structure, because currently it feels like 3 shipmen are currently steering boat.
and it's bad for business (which at itself is doing very good)

It's bad to sell a ' service ' when pricing is all over the place,
and having no agenda to set appointments like it is now, is bad for quantity/quality of time in my opinion.

what do u guys use to plan the schedule of the studio?
(where obviously is more then 1 person involved)

what about price differences for tracking an mixing?

I think,the most important thing and FIRST!!! you must connect your heads and think like one because if one differ there is trouble!so domination and alpha male thing is the worst thing in this world, when are bands, jobs, studios involve...
After that sit down and discuss about shedule and future plans, terms goals.

 

I just watched The Promise: The Making Of Darkness On The Edge Of Town DVD. It's informative to see Bruce Springsteen handle the interpersonal dynamics that crop up during a creative project. It's not just about making music, it's a serious business that needs people with the relevant skills.
