Record voice with cheap (but ok) mic?

    hey! I need to record singers, I’ve more or less 50$. Which mic do you recommend?
    I worked with AKG 420 and I really enjoyed the results.
    I tried also Neewer’s mics but they sound terrible, specially in high frequencies.
    Something cheap as Neewer (or something more) and working as AKG (or something less)?

    Just get whatever mike you can get your hands on at 50$. If it works, you can record with it. Make your singer comfortable with his/her voice on the monitor and yer all good to go.
