If you want to experiment, why not start with building/sampling your own lib?
Using readily available libs does not feel very „avant-garde“ to me.
Or just start with some random lib and see where it goes…

 

There’s thousands of libraries but it doesn’t hurt to start with the native instruments first party libraries, they have enough variety to keep you going for a while and you don’t need all the big symphonic ones when similar options might be hiding in libraries with more instruments

I’d also recommend the soniccouture libraries too, they were the first other brand I heard about and they have a bunch of great stuff from percussive to avant-garde and they don’t get too big

Then get the lite converter and shrink your libraries with their guide and you won’t need a bigger ssd if you get get everything down to fit in smaller capacities, save on your 4 terabytes and get 2 instead
