Kali IN-8 2nd wave + IK Multimedia ARC Studio.
I have this setup and I can hear pretty trustable the bass frequencies even if the acoustic of my room is terrible (it´s my living room and I can´t treat it unfortunately). It is a really good setup for the price.
In case you go for it, do as first just the 7 recordings correction (short one) with ARC and then try to reduce the problems by using the dip switches behind the monitors. For me the -2db low and +2b hi frequencies helped and most of all, I changed the dip switched as if the speakers would be on the desk, even tho they are theoretically on the stand (but half of the surface is actually on the table).
    Hope it helps

Exactly, i don't get it how can they achieve all these at such a budget friendly price.
It's not like that they are only for home audio or chi-fi , you can actually mix with them and the result will certainly shock you

Edifier, an experienced manufacturer of standalone speakers, bookshelf speakers, and headphones, is now entering the studio monitor market.

Why? Like any company that wants to grow, it's conquering new markets. Because they can, and because they offer excellent value for money, they have the know-how to deliver high-quality sound. The company employs 3,000 people and produces 8 million units annually.

to me they sound worse than cheap Presonus Eris E8,
newer Genelec 8331 are completely different league (but price too though)

in the span 25 years, i already use heavily on Ns10m (wiht Hafler), Genelec 1030A, Yammy Hs50,Hs7, Tannoy Reveal 802, Adam F7, Presonus Eris, Presonus Scepter 8... beside Adam and Presonus Eris most of the speaker i mention i am happy during the time with them, countless job and work done, many client happy.

Now heavily rocking with Nuemann KH80 and KH120.. love it.. so if u have the budget i would suggest try Nuemann, in a proper room. But again its a matter of taste, many suggested here really a good speaker after all. But get something last longer, not start to giving problem once warranty period end.

Yamaha HS 8 are a good choice – excellent value for money!
I own a pair myself and am very happy with my choice, which was also not an easy one to make.
