Software will work just as well offering better latency, as well as full automation.

    Also consider FabFilter Timeless3.

The Grid in Bitwig has 175 modules, (as of BWS 3, I think they added more in 4) and it includes what they call the "FX Grid" which I suppose is intended to build effects. Truth is the thing is over my head. If I wanted to sacrifice the time I have left for my music after work I could probably learn it, but that's a big give currently. For now I'll take the simpler solution and just pick a couple plugins I can live with and or buy them if need be.

I'm still slowly working my way through the list I made. I keep updating it as I find more and get more suggestions. I briefly did try to find a user built FX Grid chorus at https://bitwiggers.com/ but I didn't see one.

I'm familiar with Bitwig, I made the switch from Ableton right as the pandemic hit, and haven't looked back :)

I still find VCV better for my modular use though. I go much faster with it.
