Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, so if this doesn't go here, please let me know, also sorry for the bad english, is not my first language.

With all the recent drama about bitwig and ableton, I set out to investigate about something similar to the session view in other DAWs.

I know about track folders in Logic and matrix in Sonar, but so far the more interesting has been smooth seek in Reaper, where during playback, it lets you move between markers but only after the current section has finished playing, and with this in some way I can imitate the scenes in the session view.

Do you know what other DAW has something similar to this?

Just to report back, in cubase (v5), I found the arranger track and it's editor or playlist; with it the change between sections can be timed, sort of like global quantization and scenes in ableton.

Now if only I could find an easy way to map this to a midi controller.
