Reaper Red waveform (part 2 question) I found the issue

    I found the issue that causes the red waveform

    FIrst of all, I have realimit on the master.

    i render...everything is fine....black waveform


    BUT

    if i need an increase in volume on one of the track faders after that to make any final adjustments after hearing the mastered version.... the red waveform then appears on those parts.

    I can't understand if this is important or not as the realimit is still on the master! i just had to raise a few tracks up more (while still having realimit on the master with same settings) and now the red waveform appears

    can someone inform if this Red warning is a mistake and i should ignore it in this case?

    With True Peak off (in ReaLimit), it could cause clipping, no doubt.

    EDIT: To be more precise, the waveform shows intersample peaks and this can of course happen TP is off.

    i found the issue,

    i had volume automation on the master going above 0db
