I have many different samples stored in a specific folder C:\samples

I made a project in reaper and it utilizes some of those samples

now i want to delete all samples in C:\samples that are not part of this project and keep only the ones utilized in my project in that folder

how do i go about this?

    thanks

Open your project, go to File -> Save project as. Pick/create a folder, make sure "Copy all media files" is toggled on.

Rename your C:\Samples folder to something else, open the newly saved project. Delete old samples folder if everything's working.

Please don't shoot yourself in the foot.

    After that

View -> Project Media/FX Bay -> Source Media -> Actions -> Remove all items that are not used in project
