Hi, maybe this is a very beginner question, but I can't find the answer searching the forum. The thing is, when I try to record MIDI using Touch-Replace Mode, I allways hear the notes I recorded before and the notes I'm playing at the same time. Of course there are sligth variantions in each pass, but that's the point of trying a better perfomance.
So, how can I cancel the previous sounding notes whitout erasing them?
    Thanks.

That's what happens when you use the "Touch-Replace" mode. If you do not wish to hear the notes you recorded before again, use the normal mode and you'll be recording a new take each time. Then, you can expand the track and that way you'll see all of the takes you have recorded. You can split them and choose the part from each take you like most. You can also record multiple takes of a time selection in normal mode by activating the loop mode. You'll have multiple takes of the selected looped region. P.S. In order to expand a track and see all the takes you have recorded, just make it wider in size. That way you'll be able to see all the different takes/passes you have recorded.

Thank you, I'll try that. It's just in that case I can't see the benefit of Touch Replace. Why do anyone want to hear a part that is not well played underneath the notes played in real time?

Probably just for reference, in order to start recording again at some point when thing started to come out the wrong way.
