Reaper Grid modes....straight/triplet/DOTTED/swing...

    my question is regarding the Dotted mode...

    i am still trying to figure out why it exists

    did you ever have to use that? and why?

    are you sure? i don't think so you can set that up as a time signature for that

    how do you use dotted for odd signatures?

    I don't know reaper, but dotted notes gives a hint that it sets it's grids according to it.
    Whole d. note is 6 beats, half d. 3 beats, etc..

    ...if you're looking to be able to use any odd signature you want via midi etc, just use Cubase. Especially if you need to see score notes etc... Trying to use reaper in this fashion is just banging your head against a wall for no reason. Right tool for the right job and all that...
