so i'm using reacomp

to sidechain a synth which has reverb with a kick


is there any way to NOT sidechain the reverb of the synth track

 

You need to put your reverb plugin after reacomp

 

I don't think the fellow above is right. Mute the synth track output and send it to two aux busses: reverb bus and dry bus. put the sidechain compressor on the dry track and you're done. If reaper allows to tap sending to a bus from before a plugin, just send to reverb before the compressor. Depending on what you want, either me either the fellow above delivered a workign solution
