i have some midi drum notes in the midi editor using the triangular shape symbol

they are some consecutive snare shots...is there a way to introduce more space between each of the consecutive notes automatically?

At the bottom of the MIDI editor you can choose what grid and note size you want. If it's set to 1/4th change it 1/8th or 1/16th instead. You might also need to zoom in like vuldegger said.

It's not you. People thought you were speaking about view.
But I understood that you are speaking about note placement, right?
If you want to keep them as midi, I don't have the answer.
But you could render the part as audio, and then just stretch the audio at taste.

yes creating more gap between the notes, without having to manually move each note

    its midi in this case

Can you take a screenshot of what it looks like now and maybe use paint to show what you want?

Best I can think of is hold 'Alt' and left-mouse-drag the edge of your MIDI item, stretch it until it fits your needs.

thats a good idea...first i need to select "rectangular notes" for this...this is the best solution so far

I am pretty confused about what it is exactly you want. Do you want to create space between the notes in only a visual sense (like zooming for example), or do you want to increase the length of all the notes entirely so that the distance between them increases?

What you also could do is this:
I copied the C4 notes to C3 and applied the factor in the Position field. It's not affected by Snap

You are able to stretch the midi item itself and the notes will spread out across it. I made a short video for you. Edit: I see that the piano rolls for some reason isn't visible. I think you can still figure out what is going on though.

i have to separate the notes to another track for this because i need only some of the notes affected but this is also very helpful to be aware thanks!
