Reaper 5 doesn't seem to display Eventide, softtube or a few other Audiotopia vsts. Thy show in the ini file, but they're missing in the selector. Turning off Get VST names seems to get some of the x86 and x64 bridging, but it's inconsistent. I'm on x64 Windows 7. Never had this problem with any other DAW. Any ideas?

I dont have problems with any AudioUtopia stuff (win7 x64 Reaper 5)

Try to delete the problematic entries in the .ini file and rescan for new plugins.

BTW have you tried the Eventide Ensemble Bundle release from R2R?

A few show up, but harmoniser and Tverb in particular aren't, the x86 started showing when I turned off get names and nothing ahowed in reaper when I had that checked.

It's weird, i never even use x86 but they were installed and reaper automatically added the folder. I have no idea why they show but I could try taking the x86 folder out and seeing if that helps.

I don't even have that one installed! I have 32gbs of ram I'd like to use tho!

If you have installed both x86 and x64, get rid of the x86 ones,
delete all eventide entries in both reaper-vstplugins.ini and reaper-vstplugins64.ini
    and rescan.

Edit: You can also completely delete both files if you dont have too many plugins installed... on next start/scan they will be created automatically by Reaper.
Ohh.. and you can turn back on the Get Names option...

x86: your x86 plugs will run more efficiently & seamlessly.
x64: you get to use ram hogs, but x86 plugs will run less efficiently & seamlessly.

    you decide.

Since when x86/x64 affect the cpu? As far as i know the only difference between a x86/64 bit software is the ability of 64 bit software to use increased RAM up to whatever your motherboard can support.

No problem with reaper 5 - 64 and audioutopia or eventide. Maybe its not a 86/64 Problem? Have you tried only installing vst 3 or vst 2? I only install vst 3 and vst 2 only if 3 is causing problems.

Sry nvm i got it - ram hogs ...
