I hear ya, i read in Reaper forum that Justin (main developer Reaper) said the name thing is just a "cosmetic thing" that he could not fix easily, (don't ask me why not). I assure you, the file on reaper.fm IS the official release 5.50.

 

linux builds are still considered pre-release and won't be linked on the official reaper download page.

 

I still use v4 for tracking while waiting for next major version to upgrade but did you guys say they are going to release a native build for linux?

Andrew, I stopped posted beta/final release notes long ago. Probably, only if something big coming/came.
Here, in 5.51 we see some hotfix/maintenance changes ported from 5.60pre1-6 cycle.
5.60pre7 is the latest one up to now, so go lando for info)) probably, 5.52 and other 5.5x releases may include some changes from 5.60pres.
As I used to say, I use latest betas, always update when I can.

 

In latest beta (5.60pre7) , it is now possible to preview Automation Items (that you have saved earlier) in Media Explorer.
Utterly amazing stuff !
