    Hi guys!

I’m a songwriter and I reamp sometimes not only guitars but some other sounds. I have Marshall JH-1. It has good soft overdrive with no sound destroying but it rolls off the high frequencies. I’ve tried out the Boss DS-1 and DS-2 pedals (distortion ones). And a pink noise test running through them shows that the pedals have high frequencies but their distortion is way too much for applying to any drum sounds, electric pianos and so on. Also, I’ve tested Ibanez Tube Screamer and it has a big high cut even with tone compensation.

And I’d like to ask: do you know any not too expensive guitar overdrive pedals with even spectrum (at least to be able to tweak them similar way) and with high frequencies (with no kind of lowpass filter)?

I've never used this but it is about $100.

Thank you but it seems like an digital parametric eq. I just want to find an analog overdrive or any soft saturation pedal with even-like spectrum (or at least without highs roll off)

I dumped my amps & pedals and went Kemper/Fractal, and along with the various VST offerings I have way more FX than I could ever need. I use Nebula to add a touch of non-linear fizz to liven things up a bit, and of course a reamp box to send all of my sounds out from the computer.

I mentioned an EQ as you to boost and hone in the highs that you lose with what you are using now. My ancient Tube Screamer gas a tone knob that helps to find space in a mix or when on stage playing with others. The JHS Pedals Angry Charlie V3 has enough high end for anything.

analog with a spectrum = expensive.

Cheap way - I would do it like @Lois Lane said.
Why not simply an EQ in front of the amp? To compensate the roll off. Or already Use the EQ digital on the source track and add highs there? Then run it through the amp.
