Saw a video of of someone running amps (with load box) in the loop section of an Axe FX III. That way he could record his clean guitar DI and distorted guitar. Then later reamp using the amp in the loop via S/pdif. Own a Kemper but I don't think the loops will work right for this purpose.

Just looking for the easiest way to reamp. I can't believe that a company has not made a simple box for reamping with an input, loop for an amp or preamp and s/pdif in and outs.

I have a reamp box, extra converters and PLENTY of amps. Gets a little tedious though and really don't want to buy an Axe-FX. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

the "best" way to reamp with the kemper is using the s/pdif and avoid any unnecessary extra AD/DA conversions or preamp colorations
by basically using a 100% digital signal

if your audio interface doesn't have spdif you will need one of those spdif-toslink converter boxes

Yeah, that's how I am using the Kemper now. What I was wanting to do is run real amps in the in the loop of the Kemper and bypass the amp sim of the Kemper. Not sure if the loop is correct for it though. Anybody here done that before? I know some people are using the loops in the Helix and Axe FX to do it. I think the Digi Eleven rack will do it but I'm worried about the quality of the converters. If anybody knows of other boxes that would also work, would like to know.
