my problem is simply thus: up until a week or two ago, i was able to open edison for recording with a shortcut. now that keyboard shortcut will not work and if i right click on an audio file and select 'edit' in the context menu.. nothing happens. i can manually open it and put it in a channel of choice, but i am frustrated because i use edison a LOT. a few possible related things also. every shortcut i press ( e.g. say i hit F8 to call up the plugin picker i have to click the shortcut key TWICE. and when renaming a pattern or a channel, the box pops up but loses focus and so i have to click in the box to edit the name.
as trivial as they seem, they are frustrations which i could do with solving , i really love fl but when it has an annoyance, boy it's excruciating... i just want to work without having to do the extra clicks.
anyway, the edison problem is priority i would love to get that fixed.

thanks for the advie peeps, but i just installed the beta and it works like it should.
i guess previous version was really buggy.
anyway, back to the grind..
