I used to train parkour with my friends and acquaintances. One of them was even a world champion (he teaches now kids gymnastics).
Now some are stuntmen or martial arts fighters/boxers etc. Others quit the sports, because of traumas.
You generally don't have to think while doing dangerous jumps. If you hesitate, you are gonna get hurt.

What's way more interesting is the question, why those (typically very young) people can only feel alive when doing life-threatening stunts?

As a kid I made a game of moving around without touching the ground. There were wooden poles, enough space to fit half of my foot, maybe 1.50 m apart. I jumped from pole to pole. On the fourth I wasn't as concentrated as I should have been, since everything went so smooth. I heavily bended my foot (like 90 degrees upwards), felt unimaginable pain, and didn't want to let see the people that I failed. So while lying there in pain, not able to move, I played with the dirt and grass around me, as if I was lying there intentionally. Late at night (4 or 5 hours after the incident), I finally could move a bit and hobbled home. I never jumped on poles again and lost all of my confidence.

A few weeks before, I witnessed my cousin jumping on a stage (it was an empty but closed area that we entered unallowed), losing balance and falling backwards 2m to the concrete ground. Unconscious for half an hour, he peed his pants, we were panicking. Result: Basilar skull fracture.

Now, why do current young people only feel alive with the possibility of experiencing something even worse?

You've got to be kidding (stutter). I've seen more realistic looking "aliens" on the streets of New York City. <lol> Some funny shit, man. Kind of simple, but yet poignantly timely in this global land of Lost Minds and Common Sense.

I kinda think listening to the tune with the video is far more dangerous than these stunts.

 

It is fake because the powers that be would have an intelligent person interviewing the subject, one that is well versed in many different disciplines, not the dope asking questions and replying like a bored and impatient high school student.
