Has anyone ever played this before? I heard the demos on youtube and it sounds excellent. Best piano I have heard ever. How ever I cant find it on audioz. Can anyone help me

 

I own Ravenscroft and Ivory II along with all of Ivorie's expansions. I honestly would say it's a coin toss when it comes to which is better overall. But specifically if you're looking into more Pop,Rnb,Gospel I would go with Ravenscroft. pair any of these two piano libraries with a triple sensor keybed controller that also offes half pedaling and you're pretty much in virtual instrument heaven... Unfortunately you're not going to find either on Audioz because iLok2 and Synchrosoft encryption hasn't been cracked... Both are well worth the buy.

Mind if I ask why? Was it the release sample length by chance? I had to lengthen the release samples in order to achieve a better sound. After that, it was frick'n awesome... I assume you're a classical guy? in which I would reiterate that Ravenscroft didn't impress me for that genre.

 

Thanks for that info on ilok. I guess I'll fork over the cash for it. Although I am really digging the Steinway on ivory 2 currently

 

Specifically the American Concert D upgrade is my favorite!!

 

Classical is my main background together with jazz but the point with this piano has nothing to do with the programming and recording which are ok, but rather with the beauty of the sound itself: I found it was somewhat thin and brilliant if this makes sense. Just not my cup of tea.
